A Thousand Untaken Paths is an ongoing curatorial art project exploring unrealized possibilities, memory, identity, and the consequences of choice.

The first edition is being developed as a contemporary photography and visual art project. Artists will be invited to respond to the idea of untaken paths through personal, social, historical, or experimental perspectives.

Theme

The project asks:

What remains inside us from the paths we never took?

Artists may explore themes such as memory, missed choices, alternate lives, migration, identity, family history, silence, transformation, absence, or imagined futures.

Eligible Work

The first edition will focus on photography and contemporary visual art.

Possible formats may include:

Photography
Staged photography
Documentary work
Digital art
Video
Text-based visual work
Mixed media
Installation proposals
